Acrobat 8

Has anyone gotten Acrobat 8 to work successfully with WPD documents?

By successfully I mean taking a WordPerfect document and creating the PDF file(done), and making all the fields fillable(will get maybe 1/5 of the fields).

I can do it the old way, as in create each field. I would like to either hit just print and it does it automatically, publish to and it works. It won't read it if I try to import, but feel free to walk me through the steps. It is late Friday, and could be making a stupid mistake.
