AMMUG Meeting: Friday 1/19 @ 10:00 AM

The first AMMUG meeting of the new year will be held at 10:00 AM tomorrow (1-19-07) in Haley Center, room 3233! This will be primarily an organizational meeting. I hope to have a good group discussion on what topics we are interested in covering in our meetings over the upcoming year so that we can recruit speakers for those topics. We also need to talk about recruitment for the group. What can we do to get more people involved? I'd like to do some advertising around campus (flyers, AUDaily announcements, etc.) and get more students involved too. Adobe has sent us another box o' cool stuff (T-shirts, USB gizmos, water bottles, etc., all with the Adobe logo) that we can give away as door prizes, raffle, etc. We also need to talk about free books and software and what we need to do to get them. Please come to this meeting and share your thoughts and opinions! I look forward to seeing you there!
