This is the Internet home of the Auburn Multimedia Users Group. The foundational meeting was on December 7, 2005 at Auburn University. You may view much of the content on this site anonymously, but you will need to register and login (using the Secure Login link at the top of this page) before leaving comments, posting to the forums, or writing a blog entry.

If you have suggestions or comments about this site, please post them in the Website Forum or click on the forums menu item in the left side menu for a list of all forums.

Connect 7 on Mac OS Tiger Workaround

Users on MAC OS Tiger will need to do the following steps very time they wish to launch a meeting room. Hopefully Adobe will release a fix for this issue.

 

1. You need to be the admin on the  machine you wish to launch the meeting

2. Go to the Applications directory and click on the Adobe Connect 7 Icon. 3. Now in this folder click on the Green and White Adobe Connect 7 AddIn Icon.This launches a web browser window.  DO NOT close this window.   

3.  Now in a new internet browser window navigate to the desired meeting room location

4.  You will now get a security pop up window. It is safe to click Ok to proceed.

Auburn Adobe Connect Down Time for Upgrade

Acrobat Connect Professional will undergo a system update from version 6 to 7. This upgrade will occur on Monday June 9 to Friday June 13 During the upgrade period the Acrobat Connect Professional system will be unavailable. If you experience any problems with your Acrobat Connect Professional account after the upgrade please contact us at  connect@auburn.edu .
Some of the new features that will be available are:
* Edit recordings
* Easy video capture, editing, and output
* Randomized and pooled-question assessments
* Compliance and control settings
* Breakout rooms
